Sarah has been a Financial Advisor since 1997 (20 years!), and a Certified Financial Planner since 2004. She's also achieved life membership of the Million Dollar Round Table, an international industry recognition of the top 1% advisors around the world.
All of the above are important, but to understand Sarah's uniqueness, it is important to know both her background as a trained musician, and her experience as a missionary in Zimbabwe, Africa.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Music degree from the highly competitive music program at the University of Toronto. While being a music theory major, she was exposed to the challenging discipline of music composition. This discipline has given her the unusual edge of creating new and unique compositions within the confine of rules and regulations.
Because of this unique skill, Sarah excels in working with entrepreneurs looking for creative financial solutions to protect themselves, their business, and their loved ones – all in keeping with the confines of their specific needs and budget. People looking to retire in the near future, as well as retirees, have also found Sarah's unique skillset a real asset.
Before joining the financial industry, Sarah and her husband spent five eye-opening and meaningful years working as missionaries in Zimbabwe. She sees money not as an end in itself, but she rather views wealth accumulation as a means by which anyone can gain the freedom to live in ways that are meaningful and fulfilling. With her 'out-of-the-box' creativity, and her know-how as a Certified Financial Planner, Sarah puts together financial solutions that provide financial peace-of-mind during both accumulation, and the de-cumulation stage of retirement.
Sarah gives back to the community by accepting invitations to speak on the topic of Financial Planning for the Disabled to various community groups, including the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario.
Happily married, Sarah takes regular retreats with her husband. They also enjoy spending time with their son Sean and daughter Rosanna, now in their 20s. She continues using her musical ability through directing music at her church.
At the age of 19, Rosanna was introduced to the financial service industry by working part-time at her mother’s practice. She initially had no real interest in the field, since she was busy pursuing her passions – acting and writing music. However, under the unique business practices of her mother, Rosanna began to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the industry. She went from being a part-time assistant, to eventually obtaining her Mutual Funds and Insurance license (LLQP) at the age of 22.
Now with more insight into the business, Rosanna is an important team member at Wyse Financial Solutions Inc.; she engages in back office processing, as well as one-on-one customer service with a focus on cultivating and expanding client relationships.
Rosanna is passionate about promoting financial awareness to her own generation. From day-to-day money decisions to long-term financial goals, she streamlines personal and financial needs to work together for each individual’s lifestyle. She brings a fresh yet practical perspective to her clients.
Rosanna continues to cultivate her crafts of music and acting, while thriving in her role as a licensed assistant at Wyse Financial Solutions.
Michelle first ventured into the financial industry when she was hired as Sarah's administrative assistant in 2011. By 2012, she became her licensed assistant, having successfully completed the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) exam and the Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC). After pursuing a post-graduate degree in International Development Studies and yet realizing her true passion in helping clients find customized financial solutions, she decided to return as a financial advisor.
Michelle gains great satisfaction in knowing that her clients have the proper tools and protection in place to achieve financial success. She works towards being a financial advisor that clients can count on through the different seasons in life. She also continues to work in the areas of client management systems and compliance for Wyse Financial Solutions Inc.
Michelle enjoys the simple things in life, like being in nature or having a coffee with a friend. She also loves volunteering with international development organizations, whether this is done locally, or by participating in short-term overseas trips . In the past, she's volunteered with humanitarian agencies in China, Nicaragua, Brazil and Cambodia.
